Westport Beach / N Mendocino Coast KOA Open all year This Mendocino / Fort Bragg Campground and RV Park is the perfect California beach camping vacation destination! Many campgrounds say they are "near" the beach - but this is the only one on the Mendocino Coast with its own private beach! You can wade, surf, boogie board, body surf, or play with a skim board. (Surf and boogie boards are available to rent.) Build sand castles, play with your dog (on leash please), throw a Frisbee or football, play smash ball, fly a kite or unwind with a good book on the beach. Kids, bury your dad in the sand! Another natural feature of our 50-acre park is a year-round creek, the banks of which are graced with willows, pines, and redwoods. Kids love to ride bikes around the park, explore the creek, and fish from the campground bridge. Our private beach is a popular site for weddings, and there's plenty of space for your guests as well as the reception! Accommodations: The Westport Beach KOA is a great choice for a family camping vacation, a family reunion, a group get together, or a romantic getaway. Our accommodations include 75 full hook-up RV sites, 50 tent sites, and 5 group sites. Choose from beach area, creek side and park area. If you are tent camping, choose between shaded creek-side tent sites or camp on the beach and hear the sound of the crashing waves all night long! Lodging accommodations include two, bluff-top vacation rental homes. Local Area: The campground is located on Highway 1, just 17 miles north of Fort Bragg on the Mendocino Coast of California. Nearby, explore the Redwoods, tour historic Fort Bragg, kayak in Noyo Harbor, and enjoy the Town of Mendocino. Ride the "Skunk Train", ride horseback at 10 Mile Beach, or tour the Botanical Gardens, just to name a few of the many activities and attractions that are available in our area.
